Holiday Meal Reheating Instructions

Planning ahead of time makes preparing a large holiday meal easier to execute. Use these guidelines to help you organize your reheating schedule in an oven preheated to 350°F:

 

 

 

 

DISH REHEATING INSTRUCTIONS

Turkey

Preheated 350°F oven at 7 mins per pound (original weight); add an additional 10 minutes/pound for stuffed turkeys

Soups

Pot on stove over medium heat stirring occasionally for 10 - 15 minutes

Vegetable Casseroles (green bean, corn, broccoli, etc) and Roasted Veggies

Cover with foil and place in 350°F oven for 25 - 35 minutes; leave roasted vegetables uncovered

Dressing

Loosely tent pan with foil and place in 350°F oven for 30 - 35 minutes, removing foil for the last ten minutes

Mashed and Sweet Potatoes

Cover with foil and place in 350°F oven for 30 - 40 minutes, stirring halfway through heating

Candied Sweet Potatoes

Cover with foil and place in 350°F oven for 20 - 25 minutes, removing foil halfway through heating

Red Rice

Cover with foil and place in 350°F oven for 20 - 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes and removing foil with 10 minutes left to reheat

Note: When multiple items are placed in the oven together, you will want to add 10 minutes more to get internal temperature to 165°F before serving.
