BettyandJenCoverGirlsJennifer is a proud wife, mother of 2 boys and the founder and president of Every Busy Woman LLC.  After graduating from the College of Charleston in 1999, Jennifer helped launch The Little Black Book for every busy woman®, the word-of-mouth directory for women. "When I moved to Charleston from my hometown of Gainvesville, GA, to go to CofC, I needed everything; if I needed something at home, I asked my mama, so this was new terrain! So, I went to the Yellow Pages for a doctor and I found a really bad one," Jennifer explains. "When we launched The Little Black Book, we knew there had to be a better way, and the word of mouth directory was born."

An enthusiastic community volunteer, she feels privileged to have served as the Vice President of the Board at the Center for Women, the President of her Neighborhood Association, a Listening Facilitator with the Charleston Illimination Project, a volunteer with the Old Towne Charleston District Task Force, Charleston County Distinguished Young Women Scholarship Program and the National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship. In 2005, she received the Charleston Regional Business Journal’s “Forty Under 40” Award and in 2010, was named one of Stiletto Woman Magazine’s "25 Amazing Women of the Year".

Jennifer performs comedy improv at Theatre 99 in Charleston as part of the main stage cast as well as in the groups Mary Kay has a Posse and Hot Pants. "I truly believe that one of the secrets of life is having great hobbies, and I've found one that nurtures me in a way that teaches me all of the time," says Jennifer.

Having launched a business, learned from each experience ("How do I know this much about trucking?"), franchised her business, taken a million classes ("I'm classically trained in ballet for over 10 years, but the last dance class I took was break dancing,") and picked up a thing or two along the way, Jennifer finds joy in being interested - in her work, in other people's stories and in being a helper. She is a speaker, consultant and enthusiastic cheerleader for people living consciously and powerfully.
